To Sarapul by car

The city can be reached from the south, north and northwest directions. From the Izhevsk side to Sarapul, the P-322 highway leads. If you go from Glazov and other settlements located in the northwest, then you should also go along this road, bypassing Izhevsk.

From the northern direction (Votkinsk, Perm, Kudymkar, Krasnokamsk) you can also get there by the highway through Izhevsk. There is another way - the road leading to Sarapul directly from the north, along the Kama. However, you can spend more time. The road from the north is of good quality, but narrower than the road from Izhevsk.

You can drive to Sarapul from the side of Neftekamsk. The road leads first to the northwest, then to the north. But, getting along it from Neftekamsk and Ufa, it is worth considering several points. First, you will have to cross the Kama. The ferry in the Kambarka area ferries cars only three times a day. Secondly, during the spring and autumn thaw, driving through Kambarka is problematic, since the road becomes difficult to pass at this time of the year. In this case, you need to go by train, or choose a long bypass route - along the M7 highway to Naberezhnye Chelny, then turn off to Udmurtia.

From the side of Naberezhnye Chelny, you need to get to Sarapul as follows - move to the right bank of the Kama, then follow the P-320 highway through Mozhga to Izhevsk. From there you need to go along the aforementioned P-320 highway. You can also, at your own peril and risk, reduce the distance a little and go through Agryz, but in this case you can get lost, and this road is worse in quality.

By public transport to Sarapul

It is possible to get to Sarapul by bus. The city has a bus station, to which there are routes from Votkinsk (3-6 times a day), Glazov (5 routes), Izhevsk (very often), Perm (3 days a week), Devyatovo, Karakulino, Alas, Chernovo and other settlements points.

You can also get to Sarapul by long-distance trains. From Moscow through Sarapul trains "Moscow - Yekaterinburg" and "Moscow - Barnaul" run. Flights depart from the Kazan railway station. The city can be reached by train directly from Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novy Urengoy. An electric train runs from Izhevsk to the city. With one change by rail, you can come to Sarapul from Ufa and Perm. A more complex railway route will come from Naberezhnye Chelny. It will be necessary to change trains in Kazan and Izhevsk.
