It is extremely inconvenient to get to Brest by plane - the nearest airport is located in Minsk. That is why it is easiest to travel from Moscow to Brest by long-distance train. You need to get off at the Brest-Tsentralny station, and the travel time to your destination is about 13 hours.

Getting from Moscow to Brest by car is very simple and convenient. The fact is that there are very good roads in Belarus, and the second part of the journey will turn into a real pleasure. So, you need to go to the Minsk highway, which then turns into the M1 "Belarus" highway and all the time move along the main road, bypassing cities such as Vyazma and Smolensk. After the formal passage of the Russian-Belarusian border, you must also drive only along the main E30 highway through Borisov, Minsk and Baranovichi. About 70 kilometers will remain from Baranovichi to Brest, and the entire journey will take no more than 16 hours. The only thing that can delay on the way is the queues at the Russian-Belarusian border.

But there are amateurs who like to travel to Brest not only through the territory of Russia and Belarus, but also visiting the territory of Ukraine a little. To do this, you need to move from Moscow along the M3 "Ukraine" highway through Kaluga and Bryansk - right up to the Russian-Ukrainian border. On Ukrainian territory, you need to pass Chernigov, then cross the Ukrainian-Belarusian border and through Gomel, Mozyr and Pinsk, which you need to drive along the A-240 highway, to reach your destination. In this case, the road from Moscow to Brest will take approximately 23 hours, excluding stops.
