Step 1
The Brest Fortress has been attracting tourists for a long time. The fortress itself is defensive and belongs to the architectural monument of the nineteenth century, but gained its fame only during the Great Patriotic War. So, the defenders of the city defended themselves from the Nazi invaders for thirty days, being in the fortress. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, the fortress was taken under state protection, and in 1970 it was recognized as a historical monument. Now on the territory of the Brest Fortress there is a museum of the city's military history, and millions of tourists come every year to pay tribute to the memory of the soldiers who fell within the walls of the Brest Fortress.

Also in the city there is a wonderful alley of forged lanterns. It was recently opened (the grand opening took place in 2013). There are only about thirty lanterns on the alley, which are made according to a special design developed with the help of Brest historians. The idea of the creators of the alley is to recreate all the lanterns that have ever been installed on the territory of Belarus, but so far there is not even ten percent of what was planned.

It is also worth visiting the Brest State Puppet Theater, which is located in the very center of the city. At the same time, the theater really attracts the interest of the public, because every month the premiere is shown there. At the same time, puppet theater is not limited to any particular style. The theater staged performances in the style of drama, comedy, as well as children's performances, in which the audience themselves take part. The Brest State Puppet Theater is very popular among tourists, because it is here that you can return to childhood, and most importantly - get a charge of positive emotions that will not dry out for a long time.
