The Schengen Visa Application is a questionnaire. The condition for obtaining a visa is a correctly completed application form. There are several points that need clarification.

Instructions
Step 1
Fill in the application by hand or on a computer. If writing by hand, use blue or black paste. Printed sheets can be filled on one or both sides.
Step 2
Enter your surname and first name in Latin letters, as in a valid passport. The place of birth, if possible, should also be written in Latin letters. Fill in the rest of the items in the usual Cyrillic alphabet.
Step 3
In the country of birth, write USSR if you were born before 1992.
Step 4
Indicate your legal marital status. Civil marriage is not official.
Step 5
The application form for a Schengen visa is the same for all countries, so do not fill in the identification number, in Russia, these numbers are not available.
Step 6
Indicate the category of your passport in the paragraph "type of travel document". Most have an ordinary civil passport, but they may also have an official, diplomatic, seaman's passport.
Step 7
In the paragraph home address, indicate the address of actual residence. If you are registered in another place, attach a photocopy of your passport with registration to your application.
Step 8
Do not fill in the item "Permission to return to the host country" if you have a valid Russian passport and permanent registration at home. The item is significant for people living in a foreign country.
Step 9
In the paragraph "Current professional activity" indicate the data of the employer or your current status, for example, student, pensioner, unemployed.
Step 10
Be sure to indicate the main purpose of your trip. No need to describe in detail. It is enough to choose an option from those offered in the filling sample.
Step 11
Fill in the item "Country (s) of destination". Indicate the country where you plan to spend the most time.
Step 12
In the paragraph "Country of first entry", write through which country you will cross the border of the Schengen area. The territory that you will pass in transit is not taken into account.
Step 13
In the column "Date of entry and exit", indicate the start date of the first arrival and the date of departure from the Schengen area, if there are several trips.
