Yalta is one of the oldest, most picturesque and expensive resorts in Ukraine. This city has an advantageous geographical location. It is located on the coast of the bay and is protected from cold winds by the ridges of the Crimean mountains. In addition, Yalta is the cultural center of the Crimean peninsula.
Instructions
Step 1
Despite the frenzied popularity among vacationers, Yalta cannot boast of active transport links to this day, and it is impossible to get there directly. The city has no airport and train stations, not counting the sea. Most often, people get to the resort by cross-checkers via Simferopol. Yalta and Simferopol are separated by only 80 kilometers.
Step 2
The most popular way is by rail. The journey takes from 20 to 22.5 hours, depending on the chosen train. Trains leave from the Kursk railway station of the capital. The terminal station is called Simferopol Passenger.
Step 3
The fastest way to get to your destination is by plane, but this is the least economical way. The average cost of a one-way ticket is 8300 rubles. But the flight will take no more than two hours. From the airport to Yalta - one hour and forty minutes by any land transport.
Step 4
Whether to use the services of local taxi drivers is a controversial issue. On the one hand, you can bargain with them, on the other, you can waste a lot of time if you are traveling alone, because the drivers will pick up passengers.
Step 5
From Simferopol it is best to get to Yalta by trolleybus or minibus. They depart from the south side of the bus station every 15-20 minutes. A trolleybus ticket costs only 15 hryvnia, which is equivalent to about 80 rubles. A trip by minibus will cost twice as much, but they travel twice as fast. Almost all local minibuses are Mercedes brands. They are comfortable, spacious and tall.
Step 6
As already mentioned, there is a sea terminal in Yalta. Therefore, one cannot ignore such an exotic way as traveling by water. A cruise on a regular ship will take approximately five to six hours. All this time you will be able to admire the picturesque views, so you will not be bored.
