Yalta is a popular resort located on the southern coast of the Crimean Peninsula. The clear sea, beautiful nature and an abundance of historical sights attract many tourists here.
Instructions
Step 1
The city is surrounded by mountains on three sides. Ai-Petri is the highest and, perhaps, the most picturesque of them. You can climb it by cable car, which stretches for almost 3 km, by car or along one of the hiking trails of various categories of difficulty. Ai-Petri is located on the territory of the Yalta mountain-forest reserve, and a walk through these wonderful places, although physically exhausting, will be a real treat for nature lovers. The top offers a beautiful view of the city lying on the seashore surrounded by green ridges. To get to Ai-Petri from Yalta, you need to take fixed-route taxis №№27 and 32 at the bus station and go to the stop "Kanatnaya doroga".
Step 2
A few kilometers from Yalta, in the village of Gaspra, there is the famous dacha "Swallow's Nest" - an elegant copy of a Gothic castle, built on a rocky cliff 40 m high. You can get to this attraction from the bus station by regular buses No. 27 and 30 to the stop "Sanatorium "Parus" or from the embankment on a pleasure boat.
Step 3
One of the main attractions of Yalta is the Livadia Palace, the southern residence of the imperial family, built at the end of the 19th century. The building houses expositions dedicated to the Romanov dynasty and the Yalta conference in 1945. Around the palace there is a park decorated with fountains, graceful pavilions and sculptures. Livadia beach, which can be reached by elevator or on foot, is considered one of the most comfortable on the South Coast. The palace complex is located in the village of Livadia, 3 km from Yalta. You can get there from the bus station by minibus number 11.
Step 4
From the park to the former dacha of the great dukes, located on the Ai-Todor mountain in the village of Gaspra, there is a Sunny path - a picturesque road about 7 km long. This route is also called the "Path of Health" - the air under the crowns of exotic trees is so clean and fragrant, the surrounding views are so beautiful.
Step 5
Vorontsovsky Park, another attraction of Yalta, competes on equal terms with Livadiysky. It was smashed at the foot of Ai-Petri, in the village of Alupka. The Vorontsov Palace, built in the middle of the 19th century, belonged to the Vorontsov princes. In the palace chambers, which have preserved their original appearance, there are expositions dedicated to the history of Crimea and the Vorontsov family, art and historical exhibitions.
Step 6
The palace of Alexander III, located in Massandra, is very beautiful. Now it is a museum dedicated to the history of Crimea from the middle of the 19th century to the end of the 20th century. Around the palace, as usual, a park is laid out, decorated with fountains and sculptural images. You can get from Yalta by route taxi # 27 from the Veschevoy Rynok stop.
