Ibiza is the third largest island in the Balearic archipelago, located 92 km from Valencia and 200 km from Africa. It is here that youth companies from all over the world come in search of adventure and thrill.
At the end of May, life literally boils here and reaches its climax by August, when even in the large clubs of the island it becomes crowded. People come here to seek adventure and dance the night away, swim in the warm sea and while away the time, replacing one bar with another. An Epicurean holiday can be supplemented with excursions, walks in the capital and trips to the other Balearic Islands.
Most tourists come to Ibiza for the nightlife. Parties are held non-stop - in bars, restaurants, clubs and on the beaches.
Every evening in the capital of the island, the city of Ibiza, there is a club parade - a procession of freaks who lure the public into nightclubs. The most popular establishments are Pacha, Privilege, Amnesia, Space, Es Paradis, and each of them holds some record. For example, Privilege is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest nightclub in the world (it is designed for 10 thousand people), Pacha is one of the most pretentious places on the island.
After a stormy night, vacationers go to the beach. The longest beach in Ibiza is Playa d'en Bossa (approx. 2 km), and there is also nudist Es Cavallet, cozy Cala d'Hort, suitable for families with children Cala Vadella … By the way, at least once you should stay on the beach until sunset - the sunsets in Ibiza are very beautiful.
Keep in mind: some of Ibiza's wonderful beaches (the most remote and quietest) can only be reached by car or scooter, so it makes sense to rent a vehicle. Car rental - approx. 50-60 euros per day.
You don't have to travel far to see the main sights of Ibiza. Most of the historical and architectural monuments are located in the capital. There is a medieval part with narrow streets and fortress walls. A little lower is the port area, where the apple has nowhere to fall from the abundance of restaurants, bars and trendy shops.
Not only avid party-goers can have a good time here, but also those who are aiming at a beach vacation with occasional outings. You can stay on the quiet island of Formentera, 6 km from Ibiza, and only occasionally get out to parties. Fans of outdoor activities will not be disappointed either: in Ibiza you can go windsurfing or learn diving.
