From Moscow, the train to Ukraine leaves in the evening, in the morning you are already in the city without wasting precious time.

But it is not only in Europe that you can have a good weekend. Russia is also rich in cities where you can walk and discover new things with equal pleasure. Take Pskov, for example. A few hours drive from St. Petersburg, the same northern nature, but the proximity of the border makes this city fashionable in a European way, and at the same time, all the ancient buildings are perfectly preserved there. It is better to stop not in the city itself, but somewhere on the lakes in the suburbs. So it will be more convenient for you to get to the main attractions - the fortress in Izborsk, the Pskov-Pechersk Lavra.
