This is usually a more profitable option financially, but only if you plan everything in advance.

The first step is to choose the place where you want to go. The most popular resort area in the Dominican Republic is the eastern part of the country, but there are other options. For example, Cabarete is a resort in the west, a favorite place among kitesurfing fans. Sosua is a small resort-type village that is chosen by young people from all over the world for recreation and entertainment.

A medical insurance policy is not a prerequisite for visiting the country, but if you intend to engage in outdoor activities, it is recommended not to save on this. Even first aid or slight indisposition for a variety of reasons can cost a pretty penny.

Planning a trip to the Dominican Republic is best with a flight, as this is the most expensive part of your vacation. Accommodation and meals in the country will cost you relatively inexpensively, but the flight is quite long, 12 hours (if there are no transfers), so it costs accordingly.
