The main transport hub of the Dominican Republic is the international airport of the capital of the state, Santo Domingo. Russians do not need a visa to visit this country for tourist purposes.

Step 1
Use the services of airlines operating regular flights from Moscow to Santo Domingo with one connection. Flights to the island without a stopover are not available. You can choose from Air Europa Lineas Aereas, Iberia, Air France, Delta Air Lines. Airlines are listed in ascending order of ticket price per adult passenger. The duration of the trip is from 14 hours and depends on the waiting time for the connecting flight. You can buy tickets on the airline's website; payment is made using a bank card. As a confirmation of payment, you will receive an electronic itinerary receipt, it will be sent to your email address. Please note that when returning an e-ticket, the airline reserves the right not to refund the full amount.
Step 2
Travel to the Dominican Republic from Moscow with two stopovers. Such flights are operated by KLM, British Airways, AlItalia. The duration of such a trip increases and ranges from 19 hours to two days.
Step 3
Design your own route to save time and money. You can order tickets from different airlines. For example, fly to Frankfurt am Main by Aeroflot or LuftHansa, and then transfer aboard Condor Flugdeinist Gmbh or American Airlines to Santo Domingo. Or take a regular BMI flight to London to transfer to Continental Airlines. When planning your trip, allow for a couple of extra hours between flights. Keep in mind that if you want to visit the cities where the flight is connected, you must obtain an appropriate transit visa (Schengen or English), even if your stay there will be several hours.
