It begins with the spring tale of the Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky, where he talked about how the Snow Maiden was looking for her love, and how she found it. Perhaps someone has seen the film "The Snow Maiden" directed by Pavel Kadochnikov - this film is also about her, our beloved sorceress.
For a long time it was possible to meet the Snow Maiden only in fairy tales or on New Year's holidays, and then she disappeared for a whole year. But in 2008 it was decided that the Snow Maiden should have her own house. Yes, not simple, but in Russian traditions - painted. And on the banks of the Volga, in the very center of the city, a log tower of the Snow Maiden in Kostroma appeared, tall and beautiful.
