Munich Airport is one of the largest airports in Europe with a large passenger traffic, including intercontinental ones. It has a very rich infrastructure and is located 28.5 kilometers north of the city.

Most of the passengers arriving by plane to Munich transfer to the train. The train station called Flughafen München is within walking distance from both airport terminals. Every 10 minutes, an electric train leaves from it, heading towards the city. In total, there are two lines from the airport to Munich - S1 and S8, but both of them pass through the Hauptbahnhof and Ostbahnhof - the main and eastern city stations.

There are 8 bus stops at the airport. The main bus station München Airport Center, abbreviated as MAC, is located between terminals 1 and 2. But there are also T1 Modul A / B, T2, Urlauberparkplatz P41 and Besucherpark. From each of them you can leave both in the direction of Munich and in any of the nearby cities - Nuremberg, Landshut, Erlangen, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, Regensburg and many others.

Those who plan to stay at the hotel should ask the hotel administration in advance about the availability of their services - Hotelshuttle. The most expensive and at the same time convenient way to get from the airport is, of course, a taxi. It is not difficult to find their parking lots. In Terminal 1, they are located at level E04 directly at the exits of modules A, B, C, D and E. In Terminal 2, north of the exit from the arrivals area E03 and departure area E04. Another major parking lot is located at E03 level north of MAC.
Step 6
And the most exotic way to get from Munich Airport is by bike. It is more suitable for outdoor enthusiasts who are accustomed to traveling light. It is for them that two-wheeled horses are rented and bicycle paths leading to the most significant sights of the region are laid.
