Mumbai, also called Bombay, is the cultural and economic center of India. It is in this city that the richest people in the country live, so the price per square meter of real estate in prestigious areas sometimes exceeds the price in Manhattan. Mumbai is home to many museums and art galleries, bars and clubs, restaurants and shopping spots. The city is popular with tourists, because Mumbai really has something to see!
Mumbai climate
The weather in Mumbai is conventionally divided into three seasons: hot, cool and monsoon. The hottest period here is March, April and May. The temperature hovers around 30 degrees Celsius, a little lower at night, a little higher in the daytime. The relatively cool time lasts from September to February. The daytime temperature rarely exceeds 30 degrees, and the nighttime temperature is stable around 20.
The monsoon season begins in June and ends in September. The temperature is almost the same as in summer, but every day heavy rains fall on the city, real tropical showers that literally flood the streets.
It is believed that the most comfortable time to visit Mumbai is during the cool period. It is then that the climate is best suited to the inhabitants of the western latitudes.

All the advantages of rest in India, such as excellent sea and clean beaches, are presented in Mumbai without any drawbacks: there are no widespread unsanitary conditions and begging. Great hotels, pleasant climate - it is not surprising that Mumbai has won the fame of a good resort. The best beaches are located in the Northwest Mumbai area. There is also a very beautiful national park there.
The most interesting place for a boat trip is the Elephant Island (Elephanta), where caves have been preserved, where in the past people built Hindu sanctuaries. On the walls of these caves, you can still see images of Shiva.
Most of the museums, restaurants, bars and shopping spots are located in the city center, home to the richest Indians, in the Cala Goda area. There it will be possible not only to find branded clothes at prices much lower than in Russia, but also to purchase all kinds of Indian goods. There are also several markets and bazaars in the city, where you can get acquainted with the flavor of local life. Crawford Market is the largest in the entire city.
