Not always a voucher at a low price is a tourist's luck. Before buying such a ticket, pay attention to the temperature in this country now and whether it is worth going there in the summer. No matter how such savings turn into a spoiled vacation.
Very hot
United Arab Emirates
It is better to go here from November to April, but summer is the worst season for a vacation in this country. Lying on the beach at a temperature of +49 degrees is sheer suicide, and the sea, which resembles a heated broth, is unlikely to help cool down.
You will hardly want to go on an excursion in this heat either. All that remains is to sit in the hotel under air conditioning and admire the palm trees outside the window. It is hardly worth flying thousands of kilometers for this. You can, of course, have fun with the absorption of food and drinks, especially if you have all-inclusive, but after you return, you will have to lose weight and heal your liver.
Jordan
People come to this country for the red sands of the Wadi Rum desert and the striking architectural forms of the city of Petra carved into the rocks. But, imagine a desert at the height of summer and the road to a rocky city on a scorched plain under the scorching sun. Even camels in such weather do not want to leave the oasis and set off on a journey, let alone people, especially guests from the north.
A milder climate in the capital of Jordan - Amman, but even here in July-August the temperature often approaches 45 degrees. So, if you plan on walking around town, shopping and sightseeing, it's best to postpone your trip until the fall.
Egypt
In summer, especially in June-August, prices for hotels in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh are very tempting. And many people take advantage of this, wanting to save money on the trip. However, those who do not tolerate heat should not do this.
Also, it is not worth going to Egypt at this time, and those who dream of seeing the pyramids with their own eyes, at a temperature of + 40 or even + 50 degrees, such trips can turn into a heatstroke and are unlikely to bring pleasure. And now in this country, because of the unrest, it is not at all safe.
It is best to rest in Egypt in spring or autumn - at this time the weather does not test us for strength.
Too crowded
Italy
All summer here is excellent - the climate is mild, the sea is warm, there are not so many people. But in mid-August, when the Italians celebrate Ferragosto, or the Assumption of the Virgin, the beaches are not crowded. And all because from August 15, local residents rush here, as if on command. At the same time, large cities - Rome, Florence, Milan - are emptying. On the one hand, this is good: fewer people - more comfortable excursions. But on the other hand, many cafes, restaurants and even shops are closed these days, their employees are on vacation.
Spain
August is the holiday time for the Spaniards. And they usually rest on their own coast. So it turns out that all the resort towns in the last summer month are overcrowded. And prices in cafes and hotels are jumping up quite significantly.
So, if you like to wallow on the beach, and not travel around the country, and besides, you do not mind saving money, it is better to go to Spain in June-July. September is also a good time for a vacation on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea: it's still warm, but there are fewer people.
Rain and wind
Caribbean countries
From year to year in August-September hurricanes rage in this region. They cover a huge territory, which includes Mexico, Cuba, Dominica, numerous islands popular with tourists. Every year there are 10-12 storms here, and half of them develop into hurricanes. The famous tornadoes "Katrin" and "Sandy" are just from this series. Of course, it is not at all necessary that you will be so "lucky", but it is still worth insuring yourself. If you decide to fly to the Caribbean at the end of summer, stock up on expensive insurance, covering a wide variety of risks, including flight delays and cancellations due to weather conditions. But it's better to postpone the vacation.
India
The second half of summer is the rainy season. And it's not easy rain that prevents you from swimming or admiring the surroundings, it's a tropical downpour that can blur roads and drive people into their homes for weeks. There have been cases when, due to such protracted downpours in the country, transport links between the provinces were interrupted and the authorities were forced to cancel international sports competitions and other important events. The "beauty" of the rainy season is fully felt by the inhabitants and guests of the cities along the banks of the Ganges, when the sacred river overflows its banks.
When choosing a tour, look at both the dates and the map of the area.
