To book train tickets and be sure that the reservation really exists, it is best to do it on the website of JSC Russian Railways. So order a card from the bank, get it - and you can go to this site. Tickets must be booked no later than 45 days before the start of the trip.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website https://rzd.ru. Register with your full name, gender and age, email address, contact phone number. Enter your username and password (in Latin letters), a confirmation code and click the "Register" button.
Step 2
Open your email inbox and follow the link to confirm your registration. Enter your username and password and go to the site. Select the "Buy a ticket" section.
Step 3
Select the departure station and destination station from the drop-down list, or dial them manually. Indicate the number of passengers, the date and the approximate departure interval (that is, the time at which it would be most convenient for you to start your journey) and click the "Continue" button.
Step 4
If it is already 8 am Moscow time, then you will see a list of available trains. Choose the one that suits you best and click on "Continue" again. Check out the list of wagons that appears. Find out if there are free seats in the category you are interested in (reserved seat, compartment, etc.), and select the desired carriage. Click on "Continue" and go to the passenger checkout page.
Step 5
Indicate in the appropriate list additional seat requirements (upper, lower; range of suitable seats in the carriage). Enter the full name, name of the document, its series and number, information about the tariff in the form fields.
Step 6
Click "Continue", after which the train ticket booking will be made. Please note: payments made from a bank card must be credited to the account of Russian Railways no later than 10 minutes later, otherwise the reservation will be canceled and the order will be canceled.
Step 7
Check if the order form is filled out correctly and click "Pay". For payment, you must indicate the card number, CVV2 code (located on the reverse side), the owner's name (in Latin letters) and its validity period. Click OK. Write down or print your ticket number.
Step 8
You can get a ticket through a special terminal installed at the train station or at a regular ticket office by presenting your passport.
