- - bank card or cash to redeem a ticket.
Instructions
Step 1
You can order a ticket by phone at the Moscow Railway Agency, the service center of the nearest railway station, or the trans-agency of your city. Some travel agencies also provide this service.
Step 2
Select the agency you want to use. Please note that they all charge a service fee, which may vary from agency to agency. If you order a ticket from Moscow to another city, please note that you will have to pay an additional fee for a ticket from another departure station. However, in Moscow the service charge may be higher. The fares of the Moscow Railway Agency and telephone numbers for ordering tickets are presented on its website www.mza.ru in the Passenger Services section. Find out the prices of agencies in your city by contacting them directly.
Step 3
Call the agency of your choice. Provide all information about the trip: departure date, start (Moscow) and destination, number of passengers and the desired type of carriage. Choose the option that suits you best. Dictate the passport details of the passengers and negotiate the order of redemption of tickets. It is advisable to do this no later than an hour before the departure of your train.
Step 4
If you prefer to buy a ticket on the Internet, it is best to use the Russian Railways website - www.rzd.ru. To do this, from its main page, go to the "Passengers" section and log in or register if you do not have your account yet.
Step 5
Enter the travel parameters in the search form, select the train and carriage, the number of passengers and children and adults among them and confirm your agreement with the terms of ticket purchase. Pay for your ticket with a bank card.
Step 6
If you wish, go through electronic registration. It is available when traveling in domestic traffic before the train departs from the starting point. After that, on the day of departure, you will need to go with your passport directly to the carriage.
Step 7
If electronic registration is not available or you chose to refuse it, write down the order number and do not forget to issue a paper ticket at any Russian Railways ticket office. In addition to the order number, you will have to present your passport to the cashier.
