Castles have always attracted tourists with their mystery, the presence of some kind of mystery within their walls. Built in the most picturesque places, they carried, first of all, a defensive function. Castles in Spain are distinguished by the fact that both Christian and Islamic features are present in their architectural style. This is due to the fact that since the 8th century, most of the Spanish territories were under the control of the Arabs from North Africa. It was only in the 15th century that the Christians were able to completely reconquer Spain.
