In order to obtain a visa to Greece, you need to collect a number of documents and apply to the visa center of the Embassy or Consulate of Greece no earlier than 60 days before the date of departure to this country.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill out the form in English. The form can be downloaded from the website of the Printing Department of the Greek Embassy. Please sign in question 37 and at the bottom of the last page of the questionnaire.
Step 2
Take 2 color photographs, their size must be 3x4 cm. The Embassy puts forward the following requirements for the image: the photo must be taken no earlier than 6 months ago, it must not have a corner or oval.
Step 3
Take copies of the following documents: the main page of the foreign passport (check that it is valid for at least 90 days from the date of departure from Greece), all pages of the Russian passport with marks and a page with a photo, all previously received Schengen visas in the previous passport.
Step 4
Receive a confirmation from the hotel for your reservation for the entire period of your stay in Greece. If you have booked online, please contact the hotel by email and ask for a stamped booking sheet.
Step 5
Purchase round-trip air tickets, attach copies to the package of documents.
Step 6
Get an official certificate at the place of work on the letterhead of the organization indicating the position you hold and the level of salary.
Step 7
Contact the bank where you have an account and receive a statement confirming the availability of funds at the rate of $ 50 for each day of your stay.
Step 8
Take out health insurance valid in all Schengen countries. The minimum sum insured must be at least EUR 30,000; the validity period of the insurance policy must coincide with the period of stay abroad.
Step 9
Contact the Visa Application Center of the Embassy of Greece or directly to the Consulate of Greece, arrange a meeting time in advance.
Step 10
Pay the visa fee at the place of filing documents for obtaining a visa. A visa is issued within at least two working days, excluding the day of submission of documents.
