In the summer of 2012, football fans have an amazing opportunity to get to the European Football Championship. And all because one of the countries hosting the tournament participants is Ukraine, where it is much easier to get there than abroad.

Step 1
You can go to Euro 2012 on your own. To do this, buy a ticket for a train, bus, plane going to Ukraine, or drive your own car. All that a citizen of the Russian Federation needs to cross the border, a Russian passport and a completed declaration, the form of which is issued at the border. If during the trip you are going to stay at a hotel, it is worth ordering a room in advance, as the number of available rooms during the championship may be limited.
Step 2
Use the services of a travel agency. Many Russian travel agencies are already offering their clients to purchase a ticket to the European Football Championship. Its cost depends on the hotel, the number of days spent in Ukraine, meals, excursions and other components of rest. True, you will have to buy tickets for Euro 2012 matches yourself.
Step 3
Participate in competitions offered by companies that sponsor the championship. When distributing tickets, the UEFA management distributed some of them to sponsors of Euro 2012 - Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Carlsberg and others. Those, in turn, played them off among their consumers to increase their own sales.
Step 4
An alternative way to get to the championship is to go there as a volunteer. Each time the championship requires several thousand volunteers to keep the tournament running smoothly. So, volunteer work is required, for example, for organizing the transport of championship participants, meeting and accommodating VIP-guests or sponsors, helping journalists, preparing the field for the match and other work.
Step 5
To become a volunteer, apply at uefa.com. It is also necessary to comply with three conditions: reach the age of majority, speak English and one more language that any country participating in the championship knows, and also be completely exempt from studies or work during the tournament. The decision is made by the organizers of the championship on the basis of an interview.
