Citizens of the Russian Federation and many other countries require a visa to enter India. You can apply for a visa yourself at the India Visa Application Center in Moscow or at the Consulate General in St. Petersburg and Vladivostok. To do this, you will need to prepare the necessary documents.
It is necessary
- - international passport;
- - a photocopy of the spread of the passport;
- - a photocopy of the completed pages of the internal passport;
- - 2 questionnaires completed in English;
- - 2 color photographs 3 X 4cm;
- - round trip air ticket;
- - proof of residence;
- - payment of the fee for paperwork.
Instructions
Step 1
The visa application form will need to be completed online on the website of the India Visa Application Center - https://www.ttsvisas.ru/Moscow/Forms.aspx?Cul=ru-RU. It must be in English. Please note that periods, commas, colons and other punctuation marks are prohibited when filling in the fields. After you fill out the questionnaire, print it in duplicate and sign it. Stick one photo per copy
Step 2
If you have dual citizenship, do not have Russian citizenship, or have recently received it, you will need to fill out the "Supplementary Form for Foreigners". The form is also filled out in English and attached to the visa application form.
Step 3
Check your passport. It must be valid for at least 6 months after returning from the intended trip, and have at least one free visa page.
Step 4
If you are traveling by invitation, you will need to attach an invitation certified by the police and a photocopy of the passport of the person inviting you to the main package of documents.
Step 5
If you are planning a tourist trip, you will need to confirm your hotel reservation. It must contain your name and surname, dates of stay and type of room, as well as hotel details. This can be a fax from the hotel with a stamp, a printout from an e-mail or from the website of booking systems. In the latter case, you will need a reservation number.
Step 6
Children must fill out a separate questionnaire, print it in two copies, paste photographs and attach a copy of the birth certificate translated into English. All this must be attached to the main documents.
Step 7
If the child leaves with one of the parents or accompanied by third parties, you will need a notarized power of attorney from the parent (s) to leave.
Step 8
The completed package of documents must be taken to the Visa Application Center, which is open from 10:00 to 17:00. Documents are submitted on a first come, first served basis. If you have any questions about visa processing, you can call (495) 411-90-27.
Step 9
In some cases, you can get a visa in Goa, at Dabolim airport. This is possible in the event of a sudden illness or death of a relative (subject to the availability of appropriate documents), transit that does not exceed 72 hours, and in the case of a group tour through an Indian tour operator.
