Step 1
A foreign passport with a validity period of at least 3 months longer than the validity period of the visa you are requesting. It must have at least two free pages in order to stick a visa and put entry stamps. You also need to make a copy of the first page of your passport, which contains your data. If there are children, attach a copy of the page about them. If you have old passports with visas of the Schengen countries, Australia, USA or Canada, you can attach them. If you are showing old passports, make copies of each page.
Step 2
Copies of all pages of the Russian passport. You will need to show absolutely all pages, even blank ones.
Step 3
Visa application form in triplicate. To be completed in English or French. The signature in the application form must be identical to the signature in the passport. Children cannot be entered into the questionnaire; each one needs a separate questionnaire.
Step 4
Two recent color photographs 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm. The background should be light or white.
Step 5
Consent to the processing of personal data. This document will be issued to you at the Visa Application Center when you submit your documents. You will need to fill out and sign.
Step 6
Documents confirming the purpose of the visit. For those who write "tourism" in the questionnaire, this must be a confirmation of a hotel or tour reservation. If there is real estate and property in France, then the documents for its ownership. You can attach a rental contract in France, if you have one. If you are traveling on a private visit, you will need an invitation from an EU citizen legally residing in France.
Step 7
The original and a copy of the health insurance policy, the amount of insurance coverage must be at least 30 thousand euros, and the validity period must be at least the duration of the visit.
Step 8
Round-trip tickets to the country: originals or copies will do, as well as printouts of reservations from websites.
Step 9
Proof of employment and financial security: bank statement and certificate from the place of work, on letterhead, indicating the position and salary, the name of the director and chief accountant. The contact details of the company must also be indicated. If you are an individual entrepreneur, attach certificates of registration and tax registration.
Step 10
Pensioners need to attach a copy of their pension certificate, students - a student card and a certificate from the place of study, and schoolchildren - a certificate from the school. If you do not pay for your travel expenses yourself, then you will also need documents confirming the financial viability of the sponsor and a sponsorship letter, which indicates that the person undertakes to pay all your expenses in the country.
