Kõpu Lighthouse is a unique and inimitable structure located on the island of Hiiumaa in the Baltic Sea. The main feature of this lighthouse is that it is not located as usual on the seashore, but on a small hill in the middle of the island. The structure itself was erected in the 16th century and from the very beginning to this day the main attribute of the lighthouse - the lighting system - has been working. There is an observation deck at the top of the building, which offers a charming view of the surrounding seascapes.
