Italy is one of the member states of the Schengen agreement. To get into it, you need a Schengen visa. If you already have such a visa issued by another state, then you will not need to make a new one. Those who decide to make a visa to Italy will need to prepare some documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Passport valid for 90 days after your requested visa expires. The document must have two blank pages, and if the application is filed in St. Petersburg, then three pages will be required there. The first page, which contains personal data, must be photocopied.
Step 2
Application form completed in English or Italian. It needs to be signed. If you are traveling with children, and they are entered in the passport, then a separate questionnaire is still drawn up for each of them. Glue a 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm photo taken according to the established rules to the application form. You can get acquainted with them on the website of the consulate, or you can simply ask the photo studio to take a “photo for a Schengen visa”.
Step 3
When submitting documents, you will need an internal passport. You must have a residence permit or temporary registration in Russia, which will be valid for the entire duration of the trip, as well as for three months after its end.
Step 4
Round trip tickets (rail or air). You need to either provide a photocopy of the original tickets or print e-tickets from the Internet.
Step 5
Hotel reservations for the entire stay. You can show faxes from hotels or printouts from websites, which should include all the details of the reservation. For those making a private visit, an invitation will be required, to which a copy of the host's ID must be attached. You should also explain the nature of your relationship with this person. The inviting person guarantees that he / she accepts responsibility for your accommodation, providing you with financial and medical assistance for the entire duration of your stay in Italy.
Step 6
Health insurance policy and its copy. The amount of insurance is not less than 30 thousand euros. The policy must be valid throughout the Schengen area.
Step 7
Certificate from the place of work on a form on which it is written what you do, how long you have been working and what your salary is. The certificate must have all the details of an official document; it is necessary for the head to sign it and certify it with a seal. Entrepreneurs must provide a certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur, a certificate from the tax office on registration, an extract from the USRIP, as well as an extract from the company's bank account, if any.
Step 8
Pensioners must make a copy of the pension certificate and attach it to the documents. Students will need to prove their studies with a certificate.
Step 9
A statement from the bank account, which has sufficient funds for the trip. Traveler's checks can be shown. Depending on the duration of the trip, the amount of funds is calculated slightly differently. If you are traveling for a short time, then take an amount at the rate of at least 50-60 euros for one day, it is better to have some supply.
