Since 2008, tourists who find themselves in St. Petersburg have the opportunity to explore the city's sights using hop-on hop-off buses. This service is provided as part of the excursion project "City Tour St. Petersburg", on the website of which you can see the bus schedule.

Instructions
Step 1
The hop-on hop-off service, accepted on the City Tour St. Petersburg buses, allows excursion participants to get off at any stop, calmly explore the selected part of the city and continue the interrupted route without buying a new ticket. To find out what time the next sightseeing bus will appear, open the citytourspb.ru project page in your browser.
Step 2
Select the "About excursion" item in the main menu and use the "Route" option from the drop-down list. On the page that opens, you can see a list of stops of the excursion route and the time when the bus appears at each of them. There you will also find an indication of the exact stop of transport within the square, street or the vicinity of the monument, the inspection of which is a reason to get off the bus.
Step 3
If you are at one of the stops on the route, scroll to the desired name. The expected time of arrival of the nearest City Tour bus will be marked in green in the schedule.
Step 4
To view the complete schedule in a pivot table, use the Schedule option from the same drop-down list. If there is still excursion transport on the line, the opening hours of which may differ depending on the season, the time of arrival of the nearest bus at each of the eleven stops will be marked in green. In the header of the table, you can see the name of the route point where the bus will appear.
Step 5
If you are interested in the schedule of buses that stop during the day on the selected section of the route, find its name in the schedule header and click on it. In the window that opens, the necessary information and a description of the exact landing site will appear. There you can also see a list of the nearest metro stations, attractions and restaurants.
Step 6
The bus timetable is not constant. Adjustments to the schedule may be made due to the mass events held in the city. To learn about the possibility of such changes, use the "News" item in the main menu of the site. As a rule, such information appears in the project news one or two days before the change in the schedule.
