Balabanovo is, at first glance, an unremarkable town. Yes, there is a match factory here, but there are no other attractions. But history buffs know that there are several old historical buildings here that can and should be looked at.

The fastest and easiest way to get from Moscow to Balabanovo is by commuter train. The following trains depart from the Kievsky railway station: "Moscow - Kaluga-1", "Moscow - Obninsk" and "Moscow - Maloyaroslavets". Since trains almost always go with all stops, the travel time to the Balabanovo station is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Step 2
There is also the option of traveling to Balabanovo and by long-distance train. Every day three trains "Moscow - Kaluga" leave from the Kievsky railway station. They run faster than commuter trains, so the travel time is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Also, a fixed-route taxi departs from the Kievsky railway station eight times a day. The main disadvantage of this method of transportation is traffic congestion. It is because of them that the road to Balabanovo takes on average 1 hour and 50 minutes.

You can get from Moscow to Balabanovo and by regular bus. Four times a day, buses "Moscow - Obninsk" leave from the Shchelkovo bus station and make a stop in Balabanovo. Travel time is approximately 2 hours 15 minutes.
Step 5
If you go to Balabanovo by car, then there are several options. According to the first option, you need to drive along the Kiev highway through Moskovsky, Aprelevka and Naro-Fominsk and always keep to the main road.
Step 6
If you follow the second option, then you need to leave Moscow on Kaluzhskoe highway and also follow straight through Vatutinki and Troitsk. After 45 kilometers after Vatutinki, turn right at the sign to the Small Concrete Ring and follow it to the very outskirts of Balabanovo. Travel time in both cases will be approximately 1 hour 50 minutes. If there are congestions on the roads, the time may even increase up to 3 hours.
