Port Aventura is definitely worth a visit when in northern Spain. This is an amusement park, which will be interesting not only for a child, but also for any adult.

Step 1
Port Aventura is located in the city of Salou, Tarragona province, in Catalonia. Accordingly, to get to it, it is not bad to stop somewhere nearby. For this purpose, Salou, La Pineda, Cambrils, Tarragona, Reus, or in extreme cases Barcelona are perfect.
Step 2
If you are lucky and you are staying in the tourist town of Salou, you can get to PortAventura on foot or on a special blue tram that looks like a toy. It drives in a circle, so whatever stop you sit at, sooner or later you will still find yourself in an amusement park. It will take you 10 to 25 minutes.
Step 3
In addition to this option, you can walk from Salou. Unfortunately, the road to Porta Aventura, although not very long, is rather deserted and not very interesting. If you like to walk in the sun and admire the thickets of Mediterranean trees and bushes - this option is for you.
Step 4
If you live in Reus, Tarragona, or La Pineda, you must first get to Salou. The easiest way to get there is on the municipal buses of the Plana company (Bus Plana).
Step 5
If you have chosen Barcelona as your place of residence, go to Sants station or to Paseo del Gracia station. It is from there that a direct train goes directly to PortAventura. The journey takes about an hour and will cost you around 15 euros per person. In addition, trains to the park run from Cambrils, Lleida and Tortos.
Step 6
You can also get from Barcelona to PortAventura by Plan buses. Finding their stops in Barcelona is not always easy, so the easiest way to get on the bus is in Plaza Catalunya - this is the starting point for intercity buses heading towards Salou and Tarragona.
Step 7
You can also take a taxi from anywhere on the Costa Dorada to PortAventura. Spanish taxi drivers work strictly according to the meter. If you get from Salou will cost about 10-15 euros, then from Barcelona the trip will cost about 200 euros.
