When planning our vacation, most often we suppose to go on a trip with a noisy company. But sometimes plans are thwarted, and you have to go to rest alone. This has its advantages.
Boundaries are mapped, peaks conquered, depths measured. You can read about all the interesting objects, see colorful pictures … Or maybe it is better to see in reality?
Moreover, it is now comfortable to travel: if you slept under the hum of an airplane, and you are anywhere in the world. And people hit the road. Sometimes one at a time. I wonder which is better: a solo tour or a voyage with a noisy company?
Why do you have to travel alone?
“Expensive and unsafe. Stay at home. Where are you going alone ?! - exhorts the environment of a person who intends to conquer the world.
Perhaps he would not want to do it alone. But people are limited: by family, work, pets, financial situation. Sometimes it is difficult to find in your environment an easy-going person who is able to drop everything and rush off towards adventure.
Some simply do not like to change their usual way of life, do not tolerate travel well, suffer from various diseases, and cannot leave home. Others will have to overcome more than one psychological barrier and social prejudice in order to go to meet the new.
Therefore, it is sometimes easier to travel alone.
Why are single trips good?

Wandering alone, a person is not distracted by maintaining a conversation with a companion. There is no disagreement: where to go, what to watch. No precious time is wasted arguing and resolving conflicts.
People often get bored with each other. And here the tourist gets the opportunity to take a break from the usual social circle and make new acquaintances. Loneliness stimulates communication skills: the traveler will have to find out the way on his own, ask the locals, communicate with the service personnel.
By the way, it is a fact: people without company are much more often approached with the aim of getting to know each other. Who knows how it may end: this is how fate can be met.
Cons, of course, there are also: the disadvantages of the lack of satellites
- Even if the traveler does not speak spoken English - the international language of communication for all tourists - it is possible that someone from the group will be able, if necessary, to explain with the locals or staff.
- Traveling with a company is cheaper. Ordering a group excursion or a multi-bed room is not much more expensive than a single one, but the payment is divided between all participants in the voyage.
- A lone traveler will have to take care of the registration of all the necessary certificates, order tickets, book a place in the hotel.
- What is the main point of modern travel? In rest and vivid impressions? Often not! For many, the main thing is colorful pictures, which you can then show off on social networks. Who else would agree to be a private photographer if not a loyal friend?
- Sometimes accidents happen, or a tourist gets sick in a foreign country. It is good if he did not come alone, and close people will take care of him. But if not, to be in a hospital of a foreign clinic without the opportunity to buy medicine or food, without support is so-so pleasure.
You can get pleasant emotions from the trip both with the company and alone. There are always risks. It is important not to tune in to the negative side and expect only happy moments from the trip.
