Visas to Estonia on the territory of Russia are issued at several consular offices located in different cities. To obtain a short-term tourist visa (type C visa), you must provide a list of papers that is uniform for the EU countries and pay a state fee. The term for consideration of documents is 6 working days, but can be increased to one month. If necessary, the time for issuing a tourist visa can be reduced to three days.

Instructions
Step 1
Decide on a consular post. Thus, the consular department of St. Petersburg works with residents of the Leningrad, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Murmansk, Novgorod regions, as well as the Republic of Karelia. Residents of the Pskov region can contact the office of the Pskov Consulate General. Those who live in the Kaliningrad region should contact the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Kaliningrad or Sovetsk, and residents of other regions of Russia are served at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Moscow.
Step 2
Complete your visa application form electronically. The document can be downloaded from the website of the Estonian Embassy in Moscow. After filling out, print the document and put your signature on it.
Step 3
Prepare the required package of documents. It includes the aforementioned application for a short-term visa, the original passport, valid for at least 3 months after the expiration of the visa; color photo on a light background, taken within the last 6 months; a health insurance policy with an insurance liability of at least 30,000 euros, valid in the territory of the Schengen countries; copy of passport pages with biographical data and registration; a document confirming the existence of a place of residence in Estonia; round trip tickets; a salary certificate or bank statement confirming the availability of funds for the entire duration of the trip (71 euros per day).
Step 4
Sign up for submission of documents to the consulate through the website. The documents are submitted in person or by an authorized person on the basis of a notarized power of attorney. Here, at the consulate, a state fee of 35 euros is paid. If you need an urgent visa, the amount of the state fee is doubled (70 euros), and the time for consideration of the application is reduced to 3 days. Some categories of citizens are exempted from paying the state duty.
Step 5
Contact a travel agency accredited at the consulate or Pony Express courier service if you cannot process the documents in person and you do not have a trusted person. In this case, the total cost will at least double.
