December is a month of pre-New Year's bustle and feverish purchase of various gifts. But this does not mean that you need to spend all your free time in stores and sales. You can think of other, more useful entertainment.

Take the opportunity to visit one of the highest quality skating rinks in Moscow, which is located in the Olympic sports complex. And you can ride here both day and night. It should be noted that the skating rink of the Olimpiyskiy sports complex is open around the clock only in winter, and in spring, summer and autumn you can skate on ice only in the morning, afternoon and evening - until 21:00.

In December, for several years in a row, a very interesting exhibition “Magic Winter at the All-Russian Exhibition Center” is opening on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVC). There is always a Christmas market, various attractions, sleigh rides and tubing, and a rather extensive "winter entertainment area". Also, next to the Druzhba Narodov fountain, there is a large free skating rink, where everyone can try their hand at ice. And this exhibition usually closes at the beginning of February.

You can also visit the Gorky Park of Culture. Despite the fact that there are practically no attractions here now, in December, an extensive entertainment program is held here almost every day. For example, you can rent skis or come with your own equipment and take part in an amateur race. The first 20 recreational skiers to cross the finish line will be rewarded with small but pleasant and memorable prizes. Or you can visit the New Year's fair, which runs here every day from early December to early January.
Step 4
Interesting entertainment and educational programs are prepared at the museum on Poklonnaya Gora. It is very interesting for both adults and children. There are many exhibitions and expositions for every taste.

Also in December, you can visit the Moscow Planetarium, which is located near the Barrikadnaya metro station. Here you can admire the starry sky and go on an interactive space journey. In the last month of the year, it is better to visit the planetarium on weekdays. Because on weekends there are very long queues in which it is quite possible to lose two or even three hours of your time.
