V. Chapaev was born in Chuvashia, in his honor a museum complex was opened here, which is interesting even for its own architecture. The building resembles an unfurled banner. Nearby is the Chapaev Cavalry monument. The museum carefully stores materials of the civil war, samples of weapons, there are also photographs about episodes of combat everyday life.

The Chuvash Academic Theater is known throughout the country. The most daring productions and classics, colorful costumes and innovative direction. They are not afraid to experiment here, and therefore the hall is never empty. The theater hosts festivals and holds creative evenings; on the stage you can see guests from other troupes, as well as touring groups from all over the country.

Walking around Cheboksary, be sure to pay attention to the abundance of beautiful bridges. The largest is Gagarinsky on the street of the same name, its length is 407 and a half meters. This bridge is intended for road transport, just like Kalininsky, which is charming in the evening lights. Moskovsky, Oktyabrsky, Sugutsky, "Gorbaty" bridges connect the banks of many rivers in Cheboksary.

If you come to Cheboksary in the fall, you will most likely be able to get to the most beautiful spectacle - the International Fireworks Festival. Reflecting in the waters of the Volga River, thousands of multi-colored volleys light up the sky. Guests from all over the world come to see this spectacle.

Pilgrims also visit Cheboksary. They are interested in the Holy Trinity Monastery, erected by Ivan the Terrible, and the most beautiful Vladimir Church.
