The list of documents includes a passport, 3 photos, a military ID for the stronger sex of 18-27 years old, an old passport and a receipt for payment of the state duty. The deadline for issuing a finished document is 1 month. But if necessary, the application is considered within 3 working days, for this you need such applications as a letter from health care, which confirms the need for an urgent trip for treatment to another state, a letter from a foreign clinic or a telegraph message confirming the death or serious illness of a close relative.
To submit an application, you can use the Internet portal of state services gosuslugi.ru or come on the days of admission to the FMS authority at the place of residence.
To obtain a passport for children under 14 years old, you must also fill out an application, bring a birth certificate, documents of the child's legal representative, a receipt and 2 photographs. For children 14-18 years old, you should bring the same package of documents, but with a personal civil passport. Their presence during registration and issuance is mandatory.
The cost of issuing a new generation passport
The cost of the state duty for the issuance of a passport with a digital carrier in accordance with Law No. 374-FZ is 2500 rubles, for minors under 14 years old - 1200 rubles.
A new passport is issued for a period of ten years. A photograph is taken on a document in a special booth at the Federal Migration Service. In order to issue a biometric passport, you must bring a civil passport, a receipt of payment, one photo for the application and a military ID.
During the submission of the package of documents, the presence of all applicants, even newborns, is required for photography.
