Holidays in India are very popular among Russian citizens, but a visa is required to visit this country. It is not difficult to make it if you collect all the documents. Visa to India gives the right to visit all of its territories, there is no separate "simplified" visa for one region, for example, for Goa.
Instructions
Step 1
A foreign passport that will be valid for at least 6 months after you leave the country. For a visa sticker, you need to have at least two blank pages in your passport. From the first page on which the applicant's data is indicated, you need to make a copy and attach it to the documents.
Step 2
Application form for a visa. It must be filled out strictly on the Internet, on the website of the Indian government. Once you are done filling out the questionnaire, save it in pdf format and then print it out. There will be two sheets. After that, you need to sign each of them in the indicated places.
Step 3
You need to glue a 35 x 40 mm color photo on the application form, it is made in accordance with a long list of requirements, so it is best to take a picture at an agency whose employees are aware of all visa requirements for photographs. You can upload a photo at the moment when you fill out the form, but this is not required.
Step 4
If your trip is tourist, then you need to book hotels and attach printouts of reservations from the Internet or faxes from hotels. The documents must contain all the details of the booking. It is enough to book hotels for the first days of the trip, there is no need to do it for the entire stay. You can attach a voucher from a travel agency instead of a hotel reservation.
Step 5
For those who are traveling on a private visit, you need to make sure that the host issues an invitation for you. In the future, it must be certified by a notary. The invitation should be accompanied by a copy of the personal data page from the host's passport.
Step 6
Flights to India and back. If the visa is multiple, then you need to attach tickets for each planned entry and exit of their country. For a multiple-entry visa, you also need to make a sheet with a description of the travel route. Make photocopies of the visa pages of the countries you intend to visit, if they are needed and if the visas are already in your passport. The itinerary must be in English.
Step 7
Photocopies of the page with personal data and a photograph from the Russian passport, a copy of the page with registration is also needed.
Step 8
If you are traveling with children, please attach their birth certificates translated into English.
