Travel to Uralsk by rail. Despite the geographical remoteness of the region from the main transport arteries, Uralsk can be reached by a direct train flight from many settlements. The city has regular communication with the old and new capitals of Kazakhstan - Alma-Ata and Astana, as well as with the capitals of Russia and Ukraine - Moscow and Kiev. You can get to Uralsk by long-distance trains from Tashkent and Kharkov. It is possible to get to Uralsk by electric trains from nearby settlements of the West Kazakhstan region.

You can get to the capital of the West Kazakhstan region by bus. You can get to Uralsk both from the settlements of Kazakhstan and from some cities of Russia. Direct flights from Aktobe, Orenburg, Togliatti, Saratov, Atyrau, Buzuluk, Aktau and Samara regularly arrive at the Uralsk bus station.
Step 3
The air route to Western Kazakhstan passes through the Uralsk international airport. Although passenger traffic is low, the city can still be reached quickly from some remote regions. Uralsk has direct domestic flights with Alma-Ata, Astana, Aktau and Atyrau. In addition, planes are sent to the city from Moscow. Charter flights from Antalya also arrive seasonally.

Highways A28, A29 and A32 lead to Uralsk. You can get here by car along the Ural-Samara tract, which, after the border with Russia, turns into the M32 highway. From the east, you can come to the city from Fedorovka, from the south-east - from Aktobe. The A28 highway connects Uralsk with Atyrau. On the A29 motorway, you can arrive in the capital of the West Kazakhstan region from Saratov. The Russian part of this route is called P236. On the A32 road it is possible to come to Uralsk from Bugulma through Buguruslan and Buzuluk. The Russian part of this route is P246. Along the Ural-Samara tract, you can come to the city from Samara (in Russia - the M32 highway).
