Yakhroma is a small town 55 km north of Moscow, known for its ski resorts. Every year from November to March, the sports parks Yakhroma and Volen, as well as the nearby Sorochany, are visited by thousands of winter sports and outdoor enthusiasts. There are three ways to get to Yakhroma.

Step 1
Take the train. Electric trains to Dmitrov, Savelovo and Dubna depart daily from the platforms of the capital's Savelovo railway station, all of them stop at Yakhroma. Travel time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The interval between flights can be up to 1 hour. The disadvantage of this route is obvious - low comfort, but there are also advantages to traveling by train to Yakhroma. Firstly, there are no delays on the way, trains follow strictly according to the schedule, and, secondly, the low cost of travel. You can clarify the schedule of trains to Yakhroma using an Internet search engine or on the website of the Russian Railways.
Step 2
You can also get to Yakhroma by regular bus from Altufyevo metro station. There you can board the bus number 401 "Moscow - Dmitrov", making a stop in Yakhroma. Estimated travel time is 1 hour, but it should be borne in mind that during rush hours the bus can get stuck in a traffic jam at the exit from Moscow, in the Dolgoprudny area and the Marfino junction. Flights are carried out approximately every half hour. The disembarkation of passengers takes place at the General Kuznetsov Square. Step 3
To get to Yakhroma by car, you need to leave Moscow along Dmitrovskoe highway and move along it for about 50 km, without turning anywhere. After the bridge over the railway tracks, you should be careful, after about 5 km you will find the desired turn. Following the signs, you need to go left, the road junction there is not difficult. After 200 meters you will see a roundabout, this is the General Kuznetsov Square, from here you can get to any part of the city. To get directly to the Yakhroma park, you need to follow the orange signboards, they are located along the highway in large numbers, so you will not be able to miss.
