Very often it seems to beginners that there is nothing difficult in winding a fishing line on a spinning reel. However, problems arise already on the first fishing trip. If the line is not tucked in correctly, it starts to form spirals, knots and loops. And in such a situation, it is almost impossible to get pleasure from fishing.
It is necessary
- - pencil;
- - scissors;
- - insulating tape.
Instructions
Step 1
Assemble the rod and check that all connections are secure. Attach the reel to the spinning rod. To do this, install and fix it in the reel seat.
Step 2
Make a loop at the end of the line. Pull it through the special rings of the spinning rod. To do this, you need to take a reel and pass the end of the line into the smallest spinning ring. Pull the line into the next hole. Proceed by analogy until the end is at the spool spool.
Step 3
Take a pencil. Slide a bobbin over it. Ask a helper to hold her. This is necessary in order to provide the necessary resistance when winding - otherwise the line may twist. However, it should be remembered that the resistance should not be too strong as this can subsequently lead to the formation of "spirals" in the spool.
Step 4
Open the bow of the line guide and attach the line to the spool. As a rule, for this it is enough to put the loop on a special latch. Close the bow. Slowly, smoothly rotate the reel handle while winding the line. Pay close attention to the tension - the line should not sag and form "spirals".
Step 5
Check the position of the line on the spool. With proper winding, the distance from the edge of the spool to the edge of the line should be 1-2 mm. It is in this position that the maximum casting distance is achieved. If the spool is already full, and the line is still left, then it is necessary to cut off its excess. If the length of the line is not sufficient to fill the spool correctly, it is recommended to rewind the line from the spool. Make the “backing” to the desired thickness by winding several layers of duct tape around the spool. Repeat the entire winding procedure.
Step 6
After fishing, it is recommended to make 2-3 additional "casts" while holding the rod vertically. This will allow the line to dry out and avoid “kinks”.
