The opening of a new tourist season is just around the corner, which means it's time to seriously think about where and how to spend your vacation. It is especially worthwhile to think carefully about the route to your destination in order to save your time and money on the road. Experienced travelers know that it is worth preparing for a trip in advance by carefully reviewing information on ticket availability, train, airplane or shuttle bus schedules. So, one of the most beautiful places on the territory of Ukraine is the ancient city of Kerch. Every year it receives thousands of tourists from Russia and other countries. You can get to it in different ways: by train, by plane, by car or by regular bus.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to get to the city of Kerch is to buy a long-distance train ticket. Direct communications from Russia to Kerch have been established from Moscow and St. Petersburg. On average, the price of a train ticket from Moscow to Kerch is 6,200 rubles. The cost of a ticket in a reserved seat carriage starts from 3,300 rubles, and for 5,200 rubles you can take travel documents from Moscow to Kerch in a compartment. It should be borne in mind that the cost of travel in summer can greatly increase due to the large number of travelers, and it will be much more difficult to find tickets for the desired train during this period if you do not book them in advance. It will take more than a day to go by train to Kerch, 28-30 hours. This way of travel is suitable for those who plan to stay at a pre-designated place, or directly in Kerch.
Step 2
There is no direct air communication between Kerch and Russia. For those who do not want to waste a day on a long-distance train, you can get to Kerch by a regular bus from the bus station in Simferopol. You can get to it by any public transport from the railway station and the local airport, or use the services of a taxi and private carriers. Once at the bus station of Simferopol, you need to find the stop and the schedule of regular buses to Kerch. In the spring-summer season, buses run from 5 am to 10 pm. The fare for regular buses to Kerch is 50-60 hryvnia. Taxi services will cost significantly more - from 250 - 300 hryvnia. According to experienced travelers, the journey from home to home from Russia to Kerch by regular buses takes about 12-14 hours.
Step 3
Car owners can get to Kerch in two ways. The first way. On the international highway E-97, which runs along the route Kherson - Dzhankoy - Feodosia - Kerch - the state border with Russia. From Moscow and other large cities of the Central Federal District of Russia, the E-97 highway can be reached along the E-95 highway to the state border near Belgorod. After crossing the state border, it is worth choosing the E-105 highway (aka M-18), which passes through such settlements as: Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Melitopol, Dzhankoy and Simferopol. From Simferopol to Kerch, it will be necessary to overcome another 210 kilometers along the E-97 highway, bypassing Belogorsk, Feodosia, Primorskoe. Travel time is about two and a half hours, fuel consumption can be about 63 liters. The second way to get to Kerch from car owners is to use the Kerch ferry crossing from Russia through Port-Caucasus (the settlement of Taman). A significant disadvantage of this method of travel can be long queues at customs in the summer. The cost of the ferry ride depends on the size of the car and the presence of minors.
