The duration of such a trip is from 11 to 30 hours, depending on the waiting time for the second flight.
Step 2
Go to Washington. Only United Airlines operates non-stop flights to the capital of the United States, but tickets for this flight are very expensive. To reduce ticket costs, use the services of Turkish Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines, KLM, Delta Air Lines, Austrian Airlines. The planes of these companies fly to Washington from Moscow with one flight connection; the total flight duration ranges from 17 to 31 hours. LOT companies - Polish Airlines, Iberia, AlItalia and FinnAir offer flights with two intermediate connections.
Step 3
Work out a route to the west coast of the United States, such as Seattle. There are no direct flights from Moscow to this city, and the flights with one connection are operated by KLM (connecting in Amsterdam), Delta Air Lines (connecting in New York) and United Airlines (via Washington). To reduce the waiting time for connecting flights, you can purchase tickets for different sections of the route from different international companies. For example, take a Scandinavian Airlines economic flight to Copenhagen, from there by the same airline to Chicago, and then board Continental Airlines. The duration of such a flight will be only 23 hours, including waiting times at intermediate airports.
