Cherepovets is the largest city in the Vologda region. It is located in its south-west, on the Sheksna River. The city is famous not only for its metallurgical enterprises, but also for its ancient history, which local sights will eloquently tell about.

The house-museum of the noble family Vereshchagin is also worth visiting. Of the whole family, the brothers Vasily and Nikolai were able to get the most famous.
