The popularity of Vietnam as a tourist destination is growing every year, and now it is one of the most interesting and inexpensive options among the countries of Southeast Asia. Travel companies offer several of the most popular resorts, each of which has its own nuances, pros and cons.
Instructions
Step 1
By and large, there are six options to choose a resort in Vietnam. These are Nha Trang, Phu Quoc Island, Mui Ne, Vung Tau, Hoi An and Da Nang. They differ not only in price, but also in the quality of infrastructure, location, and availability of additional features.
Step 2
Nha Trang is a fairly large city in which a resort was formed. At the moment, it is the most popular tourist destination in Vietnam, despite the fact that some tourists are confused by the prospect of swimming on city beaches. Of course, here we are not talking about wild nature, not affected by civilization, on the other hand, not only beaches and the sea are at your service, but also a developed infrastructure of urban entertainment, as well as many attractions.
Step 3
Unlike Nha Trang, Phu Quoc Island, located in the south of the country, has hardly become a victim of progress. Rest here is suitable for people who are tired of noisy city streets, night parties, and the hubbub of the crowd. The cost of tours to Phu Quoc is, as a rule, slightly higher than in other destinations, but this is offset by the opportunity to practically not meet other people.
Step 4
The resort area of Mui Ne, located near the city of Phan Thiet, is a place almost completely "captured" by tourists from Russia. At the peak of the tourist season, there are more Russians here than locals. Here you will not feel like a foreigner, and signs and menus in Russian, Moscow newspapers and Russian speech will further reinforce the impression that you never left Russia. Mui Ne is considered the best beach destination, but there is almost nothing else to do here.
Step 5
The small town of Hoi An is attractive not only because it is located just a few kilometers from an excellent beach, but also because it is one of the most ancient cities in Vietnam (included in the UNESCO World Heritage List), and it is here that you can get acquainted with the ancient traditions of the country, its architecture, visit sights.
Step 6
Danang can hardly be called a resort in the truest sense of the word. It is the industrial and economic center of Vietnam, one of the largest cities in the country. Sure, its city beaches are considered some of the best in the world, but there is little to do in Da Nang itself. However, having settled here for a while, you can go on excursions to other cities, for example, to the same Hoi An.
Step 7
As for Vung Tau, it is, in fact, a resort for local residents who go to the sea on weekends. Quite decent beaches - and nothing else. No sights, no exotic, no entertainment. Many specialists from Russia live and work in Vung Tau, but there are not many Russian tourists.
