On the one hand, there is a small oval or round hole in the structure, the purpose of which raises the greatest questions, as well as the purpose of the dolmen itself - it is still not clear.
Dolmens were found in Western Europe, Asia, North Africa. In Russia, dolmens are located in the Crimea and the Caucasus, where they stretch along the Black Sea coast. Of greatest interest is the question of the purpose of these amazing buildings. Here are some of the versions that exist today about the purpose of dolmens:

3) Dolmens are astronomical structures, ancient observatories, they were intended for the study of the movement of celestial bodies by ancient people.
4) Dolmens are sacred burial places of priests and shamans who, anticipating the end of their earthly path, walled themselves up in dolmens, since they did not have to die in the usual way, as ordinary mortals do.
