All inclusive, or "all inclusive" is a variant of the service system in hotels, in which the price of accommodation includes drinks, food and the provision of a number of other services. The founder of this concept is the French company Club Med.
The attractiveness of the all-inclusive system lies in the fact that when buying a tour, both accommodation and meals with entertainment are paid for. On the territory of the hotel, in which this service system is adopted, guests can receive any number of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, for which an additional bill will not be issued. All inclusive offers, as a rule, three meals a day, organized according to the principle of a buffet, which means an opportunity for a tourist to come to the serving table and fill his plate according to his own appetite. Guests of all-inclusive hotels can use the swimming pools, saunas, sports grounds and gyms, which are part of the hotel's infrastructure, free of charge. Considered the founder of the all inclusive scheme, Club Med includes free sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing services under the guidance of an instructor.
Despite the apparent attractiveness of a prepaid vacation, all-inclusive services may have a number of limitations. So, free drinks in unlimited quantities will most likely only be locally produced. Some hotels may prohibit taking drinks outside the hotel or taking them to your room. In addition, depending on the country and the level of the hotel, this service may be available for a strictly defined period of time. Stay at the buffet may also be limited in time.
"All inclusive" is a fairly widespread service system, and therefore, to attract guests, a number of hotels have developed their own versions of the popular scheme, called ultra, maximum or imperial. Expansion of the range of services provided in such hotels may include an assortment of drinks, meals and free additional services. Thus, the Turkish hotel “Topkapi Palace”, which offers the ultra all inclusive system, includes, among the free services, a la carte service in restaurants with Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, tennis lessons, diving lessons, one-time hairdresser service and imported drinks. In the hotels of the Magic Life der Club, where the imperial all inclusive scheme is adopted, water skiing, darts and archery are mentioned among the free entertainment.
The advantages of the all-inclusive system are designed, as you might guess, for lovers of a serene relaxation on the territory of the hotel. For travelers who prefer excursion tourism, the all inclusive system may be less attractive compared to cheaper schemes.
