A long weekend will allow everyone to enjoy the first truly warm days in the company of family or friends. The question arises: where to go in Moscow for the holidays in order to get a lot of pleasant impressions? Thanks to the reshuffle of holidays, 11 days of rest will be available.

Step 1
Music lovers should arrive in the capital by May 5 in order not to miss the 12th Moscow Easter Festival. It will be led by the inimitable V. Gergiev.
Step 2
Theatergoers will not be left out either: on the May holidays, the Bolshoi Theater will open Ballet Week. It will be possible to enjoy a gala concert of Russian theater stars, as well as watch a production of Romeo and Juliet by the Stuttgart Ballet. For fans of new products, experimental performances by both Russian and foreign choreographers will be a pleasant surprise. The rest of Moscow's theaters will also delight their visitors with a large number of premieres. For the youngest connoisseurs of theatrical art, the Children's Musical Theater of Natalia Sats will show "The Golden Cockerel" by M. Liepa.
Step 3
Almost all museums in Moscow will open their doors. Interesting expositions of various directions are already being prepared. During the May holidays, the Tretyakov Gallery will hold exhibitions of works by Vasnetsov and Messerer. The Federal Archives will open an exhibition dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the House of Romanov. There you can see ladies' outfits, jewelry, and household items for ladies of the late 18th - early 19th centuries. Don't miss the exhibitions of foreign geniuses such as Juan Miro. His works can be viewed at the State Museum of Modern Art.

One of the non-standard entertainments on spring days is a ride on the famous river trams. A variety of routes, themed flights will make such a walk unforgettable.

Victory Day can be called a worthy end to the May holidays and, undoubtedly, the most important. An indescribable impression will be produced by such a spectacle as the Victory Parade on May 9. Slender ranks of military personnel, columns of military equipment, and the heavenly performance of aviation will not leave anyone indifferent.
Step 6
And at dusk you can enjoy the wonderful festive fireworks. But that's not all: on May 10, the celebration of Victory will continue on Poklonnaya Hill, in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The main event of this day will be a concert by the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra and a performance by Denis Matsuev.
