There is a saying "One crossing equals seven fires." Those who have moved at least once know how hard it is sometimes to find the right thing in a new place. However, moving and adapting to a new home can be greatly simplified.
Necessary
- - carton boxes;
- - garbage bags;
- - newspapers;
- - travel bags;
- - multi-colored stickers or markers;
- - Scotch.
Instructions
Step 1
Europeans have long begun to use large boxes for moving. You can buy similar ones in large stores, or you can make it easier - go to nearby retail outlets and ask if they have any unnecessary boxes. These can be found in grocery stores or selling household or computer equipment.
Step 2
Sort things into several categories and put them in different boxes depending on this. If you don't know where to start, place some boxes in the room. Put souvenirs in one, dishes in the second, jars and tubes with cosmetics in the third.
Step 3
Sign each box so you know what's in it - this will make it much easier for you to find things. You can also assign a different color to each category of things and glue colored stickers to the boxes or make notes with felt-tip pens. If you have breakable items in some of the boxes, mark the packaging accordingly.
Step 4
It is better not to pack clothes in boxes, but to use garbage bags for transportation. Checkered travel bags are also suitable, in which "shuttles" transport their goods - they are durable and reliable. Books are better placed in piles, wrapped in newspaper and rewound with tape. It will be much easier to carry them in this form, and you can also make a pen from the scotch tape.
Step 5
Put the essentials you will need immediately after you move into a separate box and sign it accordingly. You don't have to turn out all the bags and bags in search of a lost toothbrush.
Step 6
Leave some of the boxes a place where you will put the items you used on the last night: bedding, pajamas, personal hygiene products. After you close the last box, you are ready to move.
