Many people come to St. Petersburg with their children on vacation. And there is an explanation for this. Indeed, it is in the city on the Neva that there is a huge number of architectural monuments, this city literally "breathes" with history. Step 1
First of all, you can visit one of the largest and most interesting museums in Europe - the Hermitage. Paintings, sculptures, rare canvases by famous artists. It is simply unrealistic to get around the entire Hermitage in one day. Therefore, you will have to spend two or even three days on it. And if there is no desire to stand in a long line, then it is better to come to the museum about an hour before the opening, when there are not so many people yet. The only exceptions are, perhaps, only cold days, when the thermometer drops below ten degrees below zero.
Step 2
If the Hermitage does not feel like it, then you can visit the Kunstkamera, which is now called the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography. It is here that there is not only a unique collection of antiques, but also the so-called "collection of freaks" and anatomical anomalies. And the building of the Kunstkamera itself is not only an interesting architectural monument, but also a symbol of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Step 3
It will not be superfluous to go with your child on vacation to the Peter and Paul Fortress, which is a kind of historical "nucleus" of the city on the Neva. In addition to a pleasant walk, you can watch how the fortress cannon fires at the beginning and end of the working day, as well as at noon.

During the holidays, the Zoological Museum of St. Petersburg organizes various excursion and entertainment programs for children and their parents. Therefore, it makes sense to go there too.

In St. Petersburg there is a "Bolshoi Puppet Theater", which is not much inferior to the puppet theater, which is located in Moscow. During the autumn, winter and spring holidays, the Bolshoi Puppet Theater always hosts the most interesting performances - and not twice a day, but three or four times. So that everyone can get to the performances. A trip to this puppet theater will surely please not only the child, but also the parents.
Step 6
So that the child does not get tired of museums and theaters, you can just walk with him through the city center. For example, walk along the entire Nevsky Prospekt. Or go to the Palace Square, look at the majestic buildings. The most important thing is not to forget your camera with you for a small photo shoot.
