Step 1
Study the information on obtaining visas on the website of the German Embassy in Moscow. First, read the useful information that will save you from rash steps. If you go to the website of the Embassy, you will see in the section on visa issuance an announcement that the German Embassy does not cooperate with Visa Agencies. Step 2
Select the department to which you will have to apply for a visa. Geographically, you can refer either to the Consular and Legal (Visa) Department of the German Embassy in Moscow or to one of the Consulates General. The place of issue of the visa is determined by the place of your actual residence, not registration.
Step 3
Calculate the timing of obtaining a visa and make an appointment in advance. There are a lot of people who want to get a visa, so it is better to sign up at least one month before the date you need, maximum three months before the planned trip. You need to be especially attentive to the timing during periods of vacations and vacations.
Step 4
At the appointed time, visit the visa department, go to the window in which you are registered, and hand over the documents. If you are traveling in a group, then you must also submit documents at the same time. Together with the application, submit all the certificates and documents that you brought. Answer questions clearly and truthfully. Remember that the employee who accepts your documents does not decide whether to issue you a visa.
Step 5
A separate application is submitted for a minor child, which must be signed by both parents or legal representatives. The original and a copy of the birth certificate are attached to the application. If the child is traveling with one parent / representative, it will be necessary to submit a statement of consent of the second parent / representative in Russian and German. A child of 14 years old must have his own passport.
Step 6
You can pay the visa fee at the cash desk of the visa department.
Step 7
Get your visa. Typically, a visa is issued within three days. You will be told about the time of receipt at the time of submitting documents

A Schengen visa is valid for all states within the Schengen area. The visa can be issued by the German consulate for up to 90 days, which must be spent within six months, and is valid for private and business travel. Please note that the validity of a Schengen visa is determined individually and depends on the purpose of the trip specified in the application.
