To visit China, Russian citizens need a visa. Sometimes tourist visas are not issued for every person, but for the whole group. Only holders of diplomatic passports have the right to visit the DPRK without a visa. To obtain a Chinese visa, the following documents are required.

Step 1
Foreign passport, which must have a free page for pasting a visa. Its validity period must be at least six months at the time the application is submitted. If you already have Chinese visas in your passport, then you need to provide copies of the pages on which they are placed. Also make a copy of the personal data page.
Step 2
Visa application form in triplicate, completed in Russian, Chinese or English. The application form must be signed. You can fill in both by hand and on a computer.
Step 3
Fresh photo of 48 x 33 mm on a light background. It must be glued to the questionnaire.
Step 4
Photocopies of pages from a Russian passport, which contain personal data and information about registration.
Step 5
Hotel reservation for the entire stay in the country or an invitation from the host (private person or company). Before submitting documents, check with the consulate if invitations from individuals are accepted there, because not all Chinese consulates in Russia do this.
Step 6
Copies of tickets or printouts of reservations from websites. Some consulates only require air tickets.
Step 7
For those who are visiting China for the first time, it is necessary to provide a certificate of employment on an official letterhead, indicating the names of the director and chief accountant. The certificate must indicate the position and salary of the applicant.
Step 8
Bank statement confirming the financial situation of the applicant.

For a tourist group (from 5 people) the following documents are required: an invitation from an official Chinese travel company, a list of the entire group (names, surnames and information and data of passports).
