Never say hello to the same person twice a day. If no one in Russia even pays attention to this, then the Frenchman may harbor a considerable resentment. Your behavior like this can be viewed as forgetfulness and disrespect. The French are very attentive to who they greeted, and do not allow themselves to repeat the greeting twice.
Step 2
Address the French on "you". In French, there are clear semantic and grammatical differences between the frivolous "you" and the respected "you". In some families, spouses who have lived together for more than one year continue to refer to each other as “you”. Only very close people who deserve unlimited trust and respect can switch to a simpler form of address.

Don't worry if suddenly a Frenchman yells at you. By their temperament, they are very similar to Italians, who strive to demonstrate all their emotions to others. The same applies to the additional payment for taxi services, which is 10% of the meter reading.
