The most convenient way to get to Tambov is by car. You need to move into the city through the autobahn along the M4 federal highway, that is, the Novokashirskoye highway. Then the autobahn turns into a two-lane road, along which, in fact, you can enter the Tula region. This two-strip has good coverage and virtually no rutting. That is, the car runs well on the highway and does not wobble around corners. Then for some time you have to drive along the broken roads of the Ryazan region. But in the Tambov region, the road surface, oddly enough, is getting better, so you can go there at a cruising speed of 80-90 kilometers per hour. Average travel time is six hours.
Step 2
It is easy to get to Tambov by train. From two to four trains leave from Paveletsky railway station a day. Travel time is about 11 hours.
Step 3
There is also air communication between Moscow and Tambov. Departures are carried out from Vnukovo airport twice a day on average. The flight lasts an hour and a half.
Step 4
It is quite easy to get to Tambov by bus. There is a fairly large selection of where to go from Moscow. You can leave Kozhevnicheskaya street by bus Moscow - Kamyshin, there is an opportunity to go to Tambov from Paveletsky or Kazansky railway station.
