Step 1
The first step is to make sure that your passport will be valid for at least three months from the date of your return from travel.
Step 2
Explore the profile by following the link - https://www.ambafrance-ru.org/IMG/pdf/Formulaire_SCH_eng.pdf. You can fill it out on a computer or by hand in block letters. It must be in English or French. When the questionnaire is ready, sign it and stick one photo in the space provided. The second must be attached with a paper clip
Step 3
Documents are submitted by appointment or on a first come, first served basis. However, it is better to sign up in advance on the website of the visa center or by phone: (495) 504-37-05. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Step 4
If you are traveling by invitation, it must be certified by the city hall. Attach to the main documents the original and a copy, as well as a photocopy of the passport or residence permit of the inviter (if he is not a French citizen). In the case of visiting relatives, documents of kinship will be required (marriage, birth certificate, etc.).
Step 5
You can confirm the availability of sufficient financial resources with a certificate of 2 personal income tax, a bank statement or from an international credit card account. Copies of credit cards, traveler's checks, cash and currency exchange certificates are not taken into account.
Step 6
Students must submit a certificate from their institution, student ID, and sponsorship letter confirming the income of the sponsor of the trip.
Step 7
Non-working citizens and retirees will need a sponsorship letter, a document confirming that the sponsor has the necessary financial resources and a copy of the pension certificate.
Step 8
Children must attach the original and a copy of the birth certificate and a notarized power of attorney from their parents to the main documents, allowing them to travel to France and other EU countries (even if the child is accompanied by both parents).
Step 9
If you are traveling with a child alone, you will need to attach a power of attorney from you, your spouse and a copy of the spread of his (her) internal passport.
Step 10
If the child travels with an accompanying person, an original and a copy of the notarized power of attorney from both parents, copies of their internal passports and written confirmation of the consent of the accompanying person will be required.
Step 11
If one of the parents is absent, it is necessary to submit supporting documents - a certificate from the police, a court decision on deprivation of parental rights, etc.
