Often, lovers of hikes and long walks in nature are faced with the question: how to cross the river without getting your feet wet. Quite a significant problem, since sometimes the success of an enterprise depends on its solution: in the mountains or in the forest with wet feet, you can easily catch a cold, and in the absence of medical assistance, you can also earn complications. Therefore, professionals have come up with several ways to "get out of the water".

Necessary

  • - logs or stones;
  • - ropes or cables;
  • - floating craft.

Instructions

Step 1

Take a thick log and block the river 1.5-2 meters. Place the next log next to the first one. It can be moved by coasting, resulting in a line perpendicular to the current. On it you can get to the other side of the river without getting your feet wet.

Step 2

If there are no thick logs, use cables and ropes. To do this, build a suspension bridge on the shore of three ropes and thin logs. One person (if you are on a hike with a team) wade to the other side of the river and anchors the bridge. After that, cross the hinged homemade bridge across the river.

Step 3

If the river is not deep, cross it using available means. These can be stones that look out from under the water. Be careful not to jump on rocks, otherwise you may get injured.

Step 4

Bring an inflatable boat and a pump with you on the hike. When the need arises, inflate it with a pump and swim across the river without getting your feet wet.
